Mervis 2.2
-
Hello,
Mervis 2.2 was released, but no so much info about changes. Can you post Changelog to see technical details about it?thanks
-
@derinex The most important changes is described in the newsletter or also in the news on our pages https://www.unipi.technology/news/introducing-the-new-mervis-ide-2-2-0-295
All changes are inlcluded in the builtin changelog of Mervis.

Hello
Is there a specific procedure for installing the new version, and does the resume of programs made by the old version go smoothly?
thanks
-
It will fit OK, however it will complain (just a warning, not an error) about old device prototypes, because newer version v2.1 are already available in the IDE. Prototypes v2.0 will be marked as obsolete in the next release so it will be needed to update to v2.1 later.

@tin-androić What do you see when you try to re-attach the unipi lite again?
-
-
Am I doing something wrong? Does anyone have the same problem?
-
Hello @tin-androić,
that looks like a correct detection of Unipi 1.1. Can you please send me the Mervis project to [email protected]? I'll take a look at it.Thank you and have a nice day,
Martin -
HI!
I have exactly the same problem with all my unipi lite (x8).
-
Hi @mmcreativ,
we already found the problem, but fixing it means releasing new MervisIDE. That is unfortunately planned not sooner than March.Right now, you can downgrade to previous version of MervisIDE 2.1.3 and MervisOS 1.9 inside the PLC.
I am sorry I don't have better news for you...
Best regards,
Martin -
Hi,
I'm having similar problem with L503 after MervisOS upgrade. "Find PLC" dialog says the RT is not licensed (as in the image few posts up) and system log shows something like "RT is not licensed, running DEMO mode, runtime 20 minutes..."
@Martin-Kudláček Could this be related to the error you've found?Regards
David -
Hi @sindyk,
no, your PLC will work as expected. These messages are not valid and they are meant to be valid in next version of MervisIDE, where the licensing of the PLC will be mandatory. You can ignore those for now.Best regards,
Martin
