I tried replacing the Unipi 1-wire surface temperature sensor with the PT1000 resistance variant, hoping to increase the resolution. Unfortunately, the resolution seems to be even lower, even though the raw resistance values seem to change frequently with higher resolution. Is the built-in conversion in Mervis always rounding the raw resistance value and/or using a lookup table with no interpolation between the neighbouring values, or is there a way to improve the resolution? I am using an Axon S505 with the latest Mervis runtime.

        Hello @lyngaas,
unfortunatelly yes, the Mervis transformation is rounding the resistance measurement and then does the calculation.

        Best regards,
        Martin

@Martin-Kudláček Does that mean that you recommend using the raw resistance value instead of the converted temperature value and adapt the PI(D) setpoint range accordingly?

As of now yes @lyngaas, until this gets fixed. Or you can create a function which does the recalculation properly.

            Best regards,
            Martin
