Do you need to supply both with their own power supply or do you only need to supply the Unipi? -- Will the Unipi supply power to the Raspberry?

Just wondering, is this RedPLC package used in the Node-RED OS images provided by Unipi. Is it, or different?

I've already opted to go with the Node-RED OS image from Unipi, but first I was looking at Ubuntu Core and software like the RedPLC package.
