Mail on Unipi Light

I have set up my own smtp server for alarm handling by mail
It works perfectly with my Unipi but I it´s not working with my Unipi light, it's not possible to send mail with a light ver.
It does not seem to be in touch with the smtp server.
I'm using Mervis. -
@zorro_66 There is no difference in Mervis between UniPi 1 and UniPi 1 Lite... So if you can ping from the UniPi lite to the SMTP server, it should work. BTW Mervis does not support SSL right now.

ok they're just as good then I'll get further troubleshooting
no i know ssl is not working that's why i have a separate relay server
