Neuron vs UniPI 1st Gen - Json, REST, WebSockets

Hi,

I've checked the documentation and its not very clear, would someone be able to clarify please. It it possible to use json, rest and websockets with the Neuron range similar to that of the original UniPI 1 - 1st generation?

Would this mean I'd have to use the EVOK software instead of the Mervis, or does the Mervis support rest etc too?

@bazza2000 Webcosckets and other web services are provieded by Evok API which is also available for Neurons.

But Mervis does not have these web apis, you can only create a TCP Modbus server and wire your internal variables to its registers.

Do not mix Evok and Mervis.
