var mountpoint on usb stick

Hi
Is it possible to place a writable partition (/var mountpoint) on a usb stick?
Are there any known problems with this?

Hi @ludwigj,
yes, you can put the /var anywhere you want. But the USB flash drives are also not ready to be overwritten many times as with the SD card.
