      Hello

i'm testing the Neuron S10x with the evok software.
i installed evok, attached an 1Wire temperature sensor DS18B20, on a the evok WebInterface i see the correct temperature. so far so good.

If i now slide the Analog Outup slider arround, nothing happens on the AO port of the Neuron. The multimeter don't show any value.

I suppose that the /etc/evok.conf i not correct. I played arround but get no significant results.

can you provide me e correct configuration for the neuron s10x?

      thanks
      mauri

        Hello,

I am sorry but evok is not yet completely finished for Neuron. We are doing our best to finish the work. hopefully we will release within the next few weeks.

          Hi,

So how about transistor outputs. Can i manage those with Evok?

          Thank you
          Vesa

Anything besides the 1Wire in Evok does not work for Neuron at the moment.

However there is always a possibility to communicate with Neuron using TCP modbus :)

              Hi,

do you know already an approximate (realistic) release date for the Evok Neuron API?

              thanks,
              Chris

Hopefully within two weeks if everything goes well. But do not take it as a promise because we have so much work to do :(

@Anders-Kjellström we hava a functional beta-version where the Web interface is not complete, but the communication is done (websockets, rest). I could upload that one to github if needed, but functilanlity is not 100% guaranteed.

Would be nice to test it with my Neuron L403.

                          Cheers,

I have pushed the version of evok which support Neurons to GitHub: https://github.com/UniPiTechnology/evok

All the APIs shoudl work OK, it not please report to github. But there is a still a lot of work to do on the web interface but basic functionallity (setting on and off) is implemented

It is still not ready for a final commit. The web has to be cleaned-up and finalized some tools that are not functional. Once done, it will be released under a new version.

I meant to post here. I am running the latest version of Evok on the small Neuron and its doing fine. My python application is running for 4 days now with no hiccups.

I only use the Evok gui screen to verify what my application is doing (as well as looking at the LED's.

                                        Merv.
