      hi,

I bought the mervis software. With the hardware comes the licence, all ok there. But in the download section, I just can download a hole image with debian jessy.

Where can a get a single installation package of mervis.

In this days you want to get as much as transparency as possible, so I need to download from debian mirror directly, check the md5 sum do my own install etc…

      Best regards,

      F-S

          Hello,

there is no single package of mervis available. We have created this distribution and customized it exactly for its own purpose. But if you want to, you can copy all the needed sw to a clean debian if you want to.

          Br,
          Tomas

            Hello Tomáš,

is there a howto or a documentation apart from the documentation that comes with mervis? How to I know which files do I need?

There is no how-to. You would have to do it on your own. But most of them are in /var/opt/rcware /tftpboot/ and you will also need /www/ and of course the init scripts /etc/init.d/ - scripts and nginx and maybe some libraries…

By the way what is the purpose of this? We worked hard on making the system as much read-only as possible in order to keep your sd card safe... It might be easier to install your packages on the distribution that we created.
