I would like to use the two analog inputs to measure - monitor ac current of a heat pump. Do you have any suggestions of how to do it or what hardware can i use to make it work ?

The vedt solution is to have a 220V radiator valves connected to relay of unipi. He have done this with fhem and works well.

Or as you ask in your second question you can use fhem with unipi and max/homematic gateway and one of their valve controllers - also possible.
