@martin-trojan The image should be backward compatible, but we haven't tested it. Is there any reason why you want to use new image against old MervisIDE?

I have tried UniPi-Mervis-OS-2018-08-03_v1.7-BETA.zip and MervisIDE_x86_58620.msi and I were not able to attach it by UDP. There were some error that it is incompatible. The reason why I am using oldMervisIDE is that there is no other.

Ok @martin-trojan, there are two options:

                  1. use the current stable MervisIDE (2.0.x) with the stable image 1.4
                  2. I can send you a pretty stable, but still a beta version of new MervisIDE 2.1.3. This one needs image 1.7

The stable version of MervisIDE is in the making as we speak and should be ready next month alongside with comprehensive tutorials of how to use it.

                  Martin

                      Hi @Martin-Trojan

It looks like the 1.4 Beta with stable IDE works fine on the rPi 3b+, don"t know why i didn't try that before.. I'll stick to that version for now :)
