I have a question about UNIPI - Universal Raspberry Pi Expansion Board.

  • Hello, I'm Junghee Yoon.
I have questions about UNIPI - Universal Raspberry Pi Expansion Board.
I'm supposed to connect UNIPI board with Raspberry pi 2 Model B.
    So, my questions are
1st Q)"Connecting between that UNIPI board and Raspberry pi 2 Model B is compatible?(Is it possible to use connected both?)

2nd Q)If that is possible to use, Which cable type(B and B+) do I have to use for UNIPI in that situation? and let me know what is different about B and B+?

    Thanks,

  • The UniPi board is fully compatible with RPI2. I'm also using this combination.
    See here: http://unipi.technology/raspberry-pi-model-2-in-stock/

You will need the same cable as for the B+ model. From model B to B+ the number of GPIO pins was increased from 26 to 40.

But it seems you don't need to worry about this anymore because UniPi simplified the order process by adding "RPi 2 Model B" as cable type.
