Connecting a DS18B20 High Temp sensor to 1Wire
-
I bought a DS18B20 High Temp sensor from adafruit. I wanted to find out how I should wire the RJ45 to the sensor to interface with the UniPi 1Wire.
The unipi manual mentions 2 data wires, my sensor has 1 data wire. "connect Orange Stripe to 3.3V, White connects to ground and Blue Stripe is data, pin #4" per the docs at: https://learn.adafruit.com/adafruits-ra ... g/hardware
Any advice would be appreciated.

Hello,
see our wiki it should give you answer to your question http://unipi.technology/wiki/1Wire_topology
Basically it will work if you connect only the pin 6 of rj45 to your DS12B20 DQ line but if you are using any of our hub or 1wire devices you will break the 1wire bus if you do not connect the pin 7 too.
