      instead of adding hardware wireless nic to the board it's preferrable to have an external antenna connector. Normally we have the neuron close inside metal cabinets and the SNR degrades vertically.

      our failback now is to use a tplink nano router and put it external to the cabinat, but it would be preferrable an antenna.

        Hello @nicola-mondinelli,
        this clearly violates the warranty of the Raspberry Pi. You are free to do it by yourself, but you will lose the warranty of the Neuron as well.

          it's clear that violates it. That's why i'm submitting an hardware feature request. It's a suggestion becouse others edge device has this feature.

            Well @nicola-mondinelli, you should submit it to the manufacturer of the Raspberry Pi. We buy stock Raspberry Pis just like everyone else.
